Pre-Professional Company
Our Pre-Professional Company is for the dancer who is ready to take their dance training to the next level. Pre-Pro dancers lead the way in our Company events, as well as receive additional training and performance opportunities throughout the season. Dancers in the Pre-Pro Company will exit this program well rounded humans and artists, prepared for a career in dance or with valuable life skills to use on their next journey. We believe that dance has the ability to prepare students to succeed in any path they take after high school.
We believe that success is created through learning to fail, celebrating growth, creating goals, and self accountability. The mindset our dancers build while in the program will create positive growth in all areas of life. Our rigorous training schedule teaches time management, accountability, reliability, and commitment; skills that are valuable to every job. Through dance conventions, community performances, and competitions students experience the world around them, learn to work with individuals with different backgrounds, and be inspired by our dance community. Pre-Pro dancers are expected to act as leaders not only at the studio, but in our community. We put a focus on helping our dancers build leadership skills they can take with them when they exit the program.

What is the Pre-Professional Company Commitment?
Our Pre-Pro Company is a rigorous training and performance program. First and foremost, we look for the commitment dancers bring with them to class everyday. Pre-Pro dancers are expected to show up to class ready to learn, grow, and hold themselves accountable for their own training. They are passionate about their personal growth and achieving their goals.
Pre-Pro dancers perform at multiple dance competition and conventions throughout the season, all community events, the Company Showcase, and Spring Recital. Dancers begin their season with a week long Company Summer Intensive held in August that includes technique training, choreography, bonding, a full photoshoot, and goal setting. Throughout the season, dancers may be provided additional opportunities such as workshops, auditions, and more. By signing up for the Pre-Pro Company, dancers are agreeing to attend and place priority on all Innovate Dance Company events.
